Invoicing software for small businessEverything the company bills, and who still owes it.
Write the invoice, send it, and watch it move from draft to paid. Receivables, supplier bills and cash sit in the same workspace, so the number you quote in a meeting is the number in the system.

From the first invoice to the last payment.
- 1
Set up the company
Add your company from the EU VAT registry (VIES) or by hand, then your clients. Each client keeps its own language, currency and VAT treatment.
- 2
Issue from your template
Pick the client and add the lines. The number comes from your invoice series, VAT is calculated per line, and the PDF is generated for you.
- 3
Send it by email
Send the invoice to the client from FocalHQ. It moves from draft to sent, and the due date starts counting.
- 4
Track it to paid
Overdue invoices show on the home screen. Mark an invoice paid when the money arrives and your receivables update at once.
Receivables
From draft to sent to paid, without chasing a spreadsheet.
Your own templates
Issue invoices in your layout, in English or Romanian, in any currency, with VAT handled per line and per client.
Numbering that holds
Invoice series number themselves, so there are no gaps or duplicates to explain later.
Status you can trust
Draft, sent, overdue and paid are states in the system, not colours in a sheet.
Per-client history
Every client carries its billing preferences and the full list of what it has been billed and still owes.
Recurring invoices (coming soon)
Repeat billing will keep its own schedule instead of a calendar reminder. It isn't available yet.
Ready for the accountant
Invite your accountant to the company, and they can open and download the invoices and documents they need.
Multi-currency invoicing
Bill in the client's currency, and keep the books readable.
A client in Germany pays in EUR, one in the UK in GBP, one in the US in USD. FocalHQ issues each invoice in the currency and language you set for that client, and the original amount stays on the invoice.
Templates come in English and Romanian, so a client abroad and a client at home each get an invoice they can read, without a second invoicing tool.
Companies with an EU VAT number can be set up straight from the VIES registry, so the legal name and VAT ID on the invoice match the official record.

Know who owes you, and since when.
Sending an invoice is the easy half. The harder half is knowing, on any given morning, which invoices are late and how much money is waiting. FocalHQ keeps that in front of you instead of in a monthly reconciliation.
Aging buckets
Outstanding invoices grouped by how long they've been due, so a slow payer stands out before the amount grows.
Top debtors
The clients who owe the most, with the invoices behind each total.
Overdue on the home screen
Late invoices are the first thing you see when you open FocalHQ, on the web or on iPhone.
One workspace
Invoicing that sits next to the rest of the money.
Many small businesses end up with invoicing in one tool, supplier bills in an inbox and cash in a spreadsheet. In FocalHQ they are modules of the same workspace. Supplier bills arrive by email and are matched to the supplier, and cash flow shows every movement in and out, month by month.
If you run more than one company, each keeps its own invoice series, clients and data, and you switch between them in a click. Companies in Romania can also report invoices to ANAF through e-Factura; the e-invoicing page lists which countries are supported.
Invoicing is included in every plan, starting with Basic. See pricing for what each plan adds, or start with three months of everything, no card needed.
Questions
Invoicing in FocalHQ, answered plainly.
Who is FocalHQ invoicing software built for?
Small and growing companies, roughly 5 to 200 people, where the owner or an operations lead handles billing alongside everything else. There is no approval chain to configure: you write the invoice and send it.
Can I invoice in different currencies?
Yes. Each client has its own currency and invoice language, and every invoice keeps its original currency. One client can be billed in EUR while another is billed in USD or GBP.
Does FocalHQ send invoices to clients?
Yes. The PDF is generated from your template and emailed to the client from FocalHQ. Sending moves the invoice from draft to sent.
Can I set up recurring invoices?
Not yet; recurring invoices are coming soon. Until then, each client's currency, language and VAT defaults are set once, so a repeat invoice is only the lines.
Does FocalHQ do bookkeeping or connect to my bank?
No. FocalHQ covers invoicing, bills, expenses and cash flow for running the company, not the accounting ledger, and it doesn't connect to bank feeds. Your accountant can be invited to the company to see what they need.
Is it e-invoicing compliant?
Romanian e-Factura is supported today. Other countries' e-invoicing systems are not supported yet, and the e-invoicing page lists what is.
