The product
Do I need to move my accounting?
No. FocalHQ runs the operational side — invoices, bills, expenses, cash, people — and your accountant keeps doing the books. They can download the invoices, bills and documents they need.
Does it handle e-invoicing?
Yes, for companies invoicing in Romania it's built in, through ANAF's e-Factura system. Connect ANAF SPV once; invoices you mark for e-invoicing are converted to UBL XML and uploaded when you send them. How it works.
Can I run more than one company?
Yes. One login can hold several companies and you switch in a click. Data is fully isolated per company.
Who can see what?
There are three roles: Owner, Admin and Member. Admin-only actions stay admin-only, and teammates join a company by invitation.
Is there an iPhone app?
Yes. It carries the same modules as the web app, with Face ID unlock and push notifications when a bill arrives or a document is ready. The public App Store listing is coming soon.
How do I get access?
Sign up with your Google account at app.focalhq.co. Every new workspace starts with a free 3-month trial of the whole platform, and no card is required.
Pricing, data and access
How much does FocalHQ cost?
Basic is €12 and Business €18 per seat per month, or €10 and €16 billed yearly; prices exclude VAT. Enterprise is priced per company and billed annually. Every plan starts with the free 3-month trial.
Which countries does FocalHQ work in?
Companies anywhere can sign up. Invoices support multiple currencies and languages, and prices are in euros. Country-specific e-invoicing is supported for Romania (ANAF e-Factura) today; other countries are added one at a time.
Can I bring in my existing data?
There is no one-click importer yet. Your company's details are filled in from the EU VAT registry (VIES) when you set it up, and supplier bills arriving by e-invoicing or email create their own records. If you have a large history to move, contact us and we'll help.
Can my accountant get access?
Yes. Invite them to the company like any teammate and pick the role that fits. They can then open and download the invoices, bills and documents they need themselves.
Where is my data stored, and who can see it?
On Google Cloud in the EU, with files stored encrypted. Each company's data is isolated, and only people invited to that company can see it. The security page has the details.
What happens when the trial ends?
You choose the plan that fits and keep your data. Modules outside your plan become read-only where you already have records in them, so nothing you created is deleted.
