Privacy and terms

Plain versions of both documents. Ask us for the signed copies at any time.

Privacy notice

What we hold

The records you create in your workspace: invoices, supplier bills, expenses, cash movements, clients and suppliers, employee records, time off requests, trips and generated documents. Plus the account details needed to sign you in.

Why we hold it

To run the product for you. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your company records to advertise to you or anyone else.

Who can see it

People invited to your company workspace, according to their role. Our team accesses company data only when you ask us to help with a specific issue.

Where it lives

On Google Cloud, in the EU. Files are stored encrypted, and the database is managed Postgres.

e-Factura

When you connect ANAF SPV, invoice data is exchanged with the national system on your behalf. That exchange is the purpose of the connection and nothing more is shared.

Your choices

You can export your data and you can ask for your workspace to be deleted. Write to [email protected] and we will confirm in writing.

Terms of service

The service

FocalHQ is a business operations workspace delivered as a web app and an iOS app. Access is by invitation and is granted per company.

Your account

You are responsible for who you invite and what role you give them. Admin actions, including inviting and removing people, stay with Owners and Admins.

Your data

Your records remain yours. We hold them to run the service, and we return them to you on request.

What FocalHQ is not

It is not an accounting service, a payroll service, a bank, or tax advice. Figures in the product reflect what you and your team enter.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running and to give notice before changes that affect how you work. Plans and module sets can change; we will tell you before they affect your company.

Ending it

You can stop using FocalHQ at any time and ask us to close your workspace. We can end access for misuse, after telling you why.
